A product type groups products. Create the product type first, then create products belonging to it. For example, the product Acetone belongs to the product type Chemicals.
In JSON, the nested product_type object references the type that a product belongs to.
Use UUIDs to reference products and product types in master-data requests, and codes or names in order imports. The UUIDs and codes below are examples; replace them with values from your account.
